Facebook has come up with a feature called ‘Get the Fact‘.
This feature will help stop the spread of false information and rumors.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “We have been working to stop spreading false information since March. Now we are going to make this effort a reality. Mark Zuckerberg said, “We are working on Facebook and Instagram to stop the spread of false information about Coronavirus to the public.”
Mark Zuckerberg said: ‘We have been working to cash in on false rumors since the beginning of March. We are now working with more than 60 fact-check organizations in almost 12 countries to stop the rumors from spreading in 50 languages. If the information is false or true, it will also be labeled. ‘
“Now we have moved on and added another feature. We are launching a feature called Gate the Fact. This will work to curb a lot of false information and rumors. Facebook users who have access to false information so far, we will send a message to them and give them the real information about it.” He added.
