Pfizer/BioNTech is being rolled out in the United States. The White House announced on Monday that COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged 5 to 11 will be accessible this week, but that the majority of the 15 million injections being supplied initially will not be available until next week.
According to White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients, millions of doses particularly prepared for children in that age range will begin arriving at distribution sites in the coming days, and the federal government has acquired enough supplies for all eligible 28 million youngsters.
“We are ready to execute, pending CDC’s decision. And starting the week of November 8th, our vaccination program for kids ages 5 through 11 will be running at full strength,” Zients put forth at a briefing.

Coronavirus Infections Dropped By 3%
According to CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the seven-day average number of coronavirus infections reduced 3% to approximately 69,000 daily cases at the end of last week, the average hospitalization rate fell 10% to around 5,100 cases, and the daily mortality average fell 10% to around 1,100.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the US Chief Medical Advisor, indicated that everyone will be able to obtain a COVID-19 Vaccines booster shot “within a reasonable length of time.”
Currently, the CDC’s booster recommendations are limited to particular groups of people.
