After a ten-year hiatus, Coca-Cola has brought back its much-loved ‘Share a Coke’ campaign to the Caribbean islands of Curaçao and Bonaire. The campaign, known globally for personalizing Coca-Cola bottles with popular first names, now features locally produced 20-oz bottles of Coca-Cola Original Taste and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar with names commonly found on the two islands. Instead of the traditional Coca-Cola logo, consumers will now see names printed directly on the bottles, creating a fun and nostalgic way to reconnect with loved ones.
“With this concept, we want to invite everyone to rediscover the true meaning of sharing,” said Myrthe George-Verhulst, Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola Curaçao. “It’s all about connection, recognition, and celebrating moments with the people who matter most.” The return of the campaign aims to rekindle emotional connections and strengthen community bonds across the islands.
Personalization Events and Custom Merchandise Rollout
To enhance consumer engagement, the Curaçao Beverage Bottling Company BV has announced a roadshow across various locations on the island. At these events, visitors will be able to purchase a 20-oz Coca-Cola and customize the bottle on-site with a name or word of their choice. The roadshow dates and venues will be shared via Coca-Cola’s social media platforms and the official website at Coca-Cola.
In addition to personalized bottles, Coca-Cola is launching a unique T-shirt promotion. By collecting five gold caps from any locally produced Coca-Cola beverage — including Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Original Taste, and Sprite Zero Sugar — and contributing XCG 15.00, consumers can order a personalized T-shirt with a chosen name or word. These shirts can be collected within seven days at Mister and Miss Exclusive outlets located in Saliña and Santa Maria.
To further celebrate the campaign, Coca-Cola will also be offering limited-edition “Share a Coke” merchandise at roadshow locations. Items available for purchase include:
- T-shirts for XCG 25.00
- Jug bags for XCG 30.00
- Mugs with sticker sheets for XCG 15.00
- Sets of two mugs with sticker sheets, also priced at XCG 15.00
Campaign Expansion and Community Connection in Bonaire
The excitement is not limited to Curaçao. The ‘Share a Coke’ campaign is also being rolled out in Bonaire, where Best Brands Bonaire, the island’s official Coca-Cola distributor, is coordinating the initiative. Residents are encouraged to follow Best Brands Bonaire’s social media pages for updates and participation details.
Coca-Cola is inviting the entire community across both islands to join in the celebration of connection and personal expression. By bringing back this interactive and nostalgic campaign, Coca-Cola is fostering a renewed sense of joy and unity among consumers. For full details about roadshow events, T-shirt personalization, and merchandise, residents can follow Coca-Cola Curaçao on Facebook and Instagram or visit here.
The relaunch of ‘Share a Coke’ marks a heartfelt effort to turn simple moments into lasting memories, one name at a time.
