Just as the world was getting used to the miraculous features of ChatGPT, Google has entered the big tech race and created a buzz around ChatGPT vs. Bard. Google’s very own cutting-edge AI technology aims to revolutionize how we use search engines as well as the information-gathering process. Bard is being termed as a ‘ChatGPT Killer’ and ChatGPT vs. Bard has become the talk of the internet.
But before moving forward with Bard and ChatGPT vs. Bard, let’s see how conversational AI has picked up pace of late.
The Evolution of Conversational AI Tools
A couple of months ago, I heard about an AI chatbot named ChatGPT that assists you with your writing. Initially, I thought it would be similar to some other writing tools like Writesonic, ProWriting Aid, Quillbot, etc. But when I started using it, I was taken aback by the speed and accuracy of the responses it provided. And as an information-sharing tool, it was obviously going to be compared with Google.
The hype of ChatGPT’s capabilities was so high that some experts even predicted that Google was only a year or two away from total disruption due to the evolution of AI tools like ChatGPT. However, the tech giant seems to have given answers to all the speculations and predictions with the Bard.
How will Google Bard AI work?
The Bard AI Chatbot can respond to your questions via text by using deep learning algorithms. These algorithms are known as ‘large language models’. Developed on LaMDA (language model for dialogue applications) technology, the chatbot is programmed in a way that it uses the web to provide the latest answers to your questions. This is an experimental model launched by Google and it will improve its performance as it interacts more with humans.
In terms of usage, the Bard AI is simple to use. You have to just open the Google app on your smartphone/ PC and tap/click on the chatbot icon. And like you do in ChatGPT, just enter your questions/instructions to get the responses.
ChatGPT vs. Bard: Who will be the Winner?
Although Bard AI is just recently launched, it surely seems to have challenged the rising popularity of ChatGPT. The experimental versions of both chatbots are currently in use. Once the full-fledged versions of both are open, the comparison based on many factors such as cost, user experience, accuracy, speed, etc. can be done. Some more competitors challenging both these chatbots might also show up in the future. So, only time will tell which one will be the ultimate winner.
Till then, just log in, enter an instruction, sit back, and see the magic happen!
