Fujifilm X-E5 has officially announced its latest addition to the X-series, the X-E5, a stylish mirrorless camera that blends classic design with cutting-edge technology. Set to release in August with a base price of $1,699.95, the X-E5 boasts a 40-megapixel sensor, in-body image stabilization, and an array of analog-inspired film simulations. At first glance, it resembles the popular X100VI, but with a distinct advantage: interchangeable lenses.
The Fujifilm features a redesigned, sleeker top plate made from a single piece of machined metal, giving it a bolder and cleaner silhouette. Fujifilm also introduced a new 23mm f/2.8 lens alongside the camera, which helps replicate the fixed lens feel of the X100 series. Initially, this lens will only be sold in a bundle with the X-E5 for $1,899.95, with a standalone version arriving in late 2025 at $499.95.
