Growing up in a low-income family in Detroit, Michigan, he was conditioned to believe that success required constant struggle and fighting for every opportunity. At 22, an unexpected opportunity presented itself, but Joseph felt undeserving, believing he hadn’t worked hard enough to earn it. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his three-decade-long quest for self-improvement.

His dedication has led to impressive results, such as a company’s revenue soaring from $7.5 million to over $22 million in just one year, and a wholesale business going from a $300,000 line of credit to $3 million in annual revenue within 12 months. These are just a couple of examples from over 700 clients.

Joseph’s initial challenges stemmed from his own struggles to achieve his desires. He focused on understanding the root causes of his lack of results, embarking on a journey of self-discovery to find answers and create change. This led him to develop a method, The SMT Method™, applicable to anyone, designed to leverage individual uniqueness. One early hurdle was convincing people that his approach wasn’t “too good to be true,” a challenge he overcame with compelling testimonials and documented results. Other initial obstacles included identifying potential clients and structuring his process and organization for effective service delivery.

In late 2024, he consulted with a Director of Sales who was planning to hire four additional salespeople. Joseph proposed a more efficient and cost-effective solution: developing four existing members of the sales team. Starting in mid-December, Joseph began coaching the selected individuals, and the early results are promising, with two already securing significant opportunities. Another client, an entrepreneur Joseph began working with in September, achieved record-breaking revenue in November and December and is expected to continue this trajectory in January.
