Narayan Tosur comes from small village Kerwad near Haliyal, Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka from a small farmer family. He studied till 4th Standard at his village and he needed to walk 3 KM to Haliyal for further studies from 5th Standard. He needs to go to Dandeli 20KM from Haliyal for further pre University 11th Standard and 12th Standard. Further did an Engineering Degree at Gogte Institute of Technology Belgaum around 70KM from my village.

- Praxien Haliyal Branch: In 2019, we opened our branch in Haliyal, where we have trained and hired over 70+ engineers, many from the local community, a backward community in the region. All are local Engineers. We made a HR policy to ensure our local Employees stay with their parents or Parents should stay with them. Finally they should take care of their parents. We are truly working for Local to Global and be part of India growth. Giving opportunity to Haliyal youth towards the approach of giving back to society and their hometown.
- Youth Empowerment: We have provided training and placement to over 1,300 rural youth from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, including 10th and 12th pass or fail students. All of them are college dropouts due to bad habits, distance between village and collage, due to financial reasons etc
- Tribal and Backward Communities: Nearly 50 youth from the Siddi tribal community in Uttara Kannada, and more than 50 youths from the Banjara community, have been trained and employed.
- Rural Women Empowerment: 65% of the 1,300 rural youth we’ve helped are women. By providing them with training and employment opportunities, we are empowering them to avoid early marriage and build a better future. All of them are from rural BPL family background.
- Career Counselling and Technology Awareness: We offer career counselling to rural 10th and 12th grade students, along with awareness programs on technology trends for BCA, MCA, and BE students around 20+ Institutes.
