Owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Tennis Channel provides year-round coverage of the men’s ATP Tour and women’s WTA Tour, alongside a variety of on-demand matches, documentaries, coaching content, and original programming. The shift to IP-based delivery is expected to enhance the viewing experience for millions of fans across the United States.

LTN’s Role in the Transition

LTN, a global leader in IP-based media distribution, will oversee the migration process, ensuring seamless and reliable service. Del Parks, President of Technology at Sinclair, praised LTN’s expertise, stating, “LTN is the only provider that exceeds the reliability of traditional satellite services. Their end-to-end project management and hands-on support make them a critical partner in this transition.” With increasing regulatory shifts affecting C-band satellite spectrum availability, many broadcasters are turning to IP technology for more flexible and scalable distribution.
