Prior to joining Tate & Lyle, she served as the CFO for De Beers Group, a leading diamond company. Her extensive career also includes roles as CFO at Arcadis, a global design and consultancy firm, and CFO of civil aerospace at Rolls-Royce, where she also held the position of group controller.

Kuijlaars’ career began at Shell PLC, where she spent 25 years in various leadership capacities. Her roles at Shell included vice president of finance, downstream global controller, and business finance manager for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. This diverse background has equipped her with the skills and expertise necessary to navigate the financial complexities of a global organization like Tate & Lyle.

Kuijlaars holds a master of arts degree in mathematics from the University of Oxford, further enhancing her qualifications for the role of CFO at Tate & Lyle.
