Recently, the company is busy designing a new model of the Portal which will be launched soon. The unveiling of this new Portal model will take place in the fall. The social network will release new form factors as there is a whole new generation of hardware coming up. The new models of Portal are designed in a manner to make sure that the human connections, the connections between the two people are completely the first-party experience, and there is no intervention.
There is no brief information regarding the “new form factors”, but speculations are, that these may include the “Ripley” device. This device would allow the users to attach a camera at the top of their TV sets, which would also eliminate the need for a video chatting device.
