Oscars 2023: ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ dominates the List with 7 Awards | The Enterprise World

The Dolby Theater in Los Angeles hosted the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday night. The sci-fi film from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” won the majority of the major awards, including best picture and directing. The star of the film, Michelle Yeoh, took home the best actress prize, making history as the first Asian woman to do so. Brendan Fraser (“The Whale”) received the other main acting award; he was a first-time winner as well. (A24, the production company behind both of those films, may be the biggest winner of all.)

Earlier Oscars Winners

Earlier Oscars winners included “Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio,” which took home the award for best animated feature; Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis, who both won for the first time for their supporting roles in “Everything Everywhere All at Once;” “Navalny,” which won for best documentary feature; costume designer Ruth E. Carter, who made history by becoming the first Black woman to win two Oscars (this time for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever).
