Post.Bid.Ship is a rapidly growing technology company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. From our roots as a business school project, Post.Bid.Ship grew to become a venture-backed company serving the enterprise freight transportation market. A team of entrepreneurs and technologists passionate about serving the freight industry collaborated to develop Post.Bid.Ship’s online freight marketplace eventually served over 11,000 users. The company evolved into a technology provider to Fortune 1000 companies and recently earned two awards CIOReview’s designation as a “20 Most Promising Oracle Solution Providers 2019” and Freight Waves FreightTech Top 100 Innovators.
What were the initial challenges you faced?
As an emerging tech company finding the right balance between innovation and growth is an obstacle we constantly face. Where to spend our money and efforts to achieve an optimum result.
Which was that point that triggered the growth of the company?
With any SaaS-based platform, it’s all about customer acquisition. As customers join the platform you gain references and a story to tell.
What is the reason behind your company’s long-standing success?
The company has never been satisfied with the status quo. Over the years the company and the platform have gone through dramatic changes to reinvent themselves. We must understand our industry and evolve to support the current challenges being faced in transportation and logistics.

What do you think are the responsibilities of an entrepreneur?
In all reality, you need to be prepared to wear many hats. It’s our role to make sure the engine keeps running by one or all these things: Leader, Visionary, Marketer, Decision Maker, Customer Service Rep, HR, Grunt.
Can you please brief us about your professional experience?
Sam joined Post.Bid.Ship in April 2019, brings over 20 years of transportation technology industry leadership, supply chain expertise, and executive management experience to his role with the company. Before Post.Bid.Ship Sam founded MavenWire a global leading provider of Transportation Management Services and Solutions. With experience with logistics across virtually all transportation and business verticals, Sam’s exposure allows him to help companies realize ROI through transportation solutions and human capital improvements.
- Lead acquisitions of logistics consultancies in Singapore and Australia to drive global expansion as well as had a successful exit of MavenWire
- Early employee of G-Log (sold to Oracle in 2005, now Oracle Transportation Management OTM)

How do you look after your employees? What makes your team unique?
I believe there is no I in Team. I am only successful because of the talent and individuals I surround myself with. My executive Team of Michal Murphy and Jarret Hamstreet are constantly discussing both ideas as well as industry events to understand how we continue to fit into the big picture. We have some of the brightest developers in the industry and a sales team that understand customer needs. I believe that every single person brings something to the table that makes Post.Bid.Ship the success that it is today. I embrace them and encourage thought leadership.
