SINGAPORE, 16 SEPTEMBER 2024 – The Home Expo 2024 (Home Expo), presented by OrangeTee and Tie (OrangeTee), which successfully brought together thousands of homeowners and potential home buyers, industry experts, and exhibitors under one roof at Suntec City Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre, has successfully concluded, with many attendees sharing how the three days have been a pleasant and thoughtful experience over three days.

The event provided a unique opportunity for OrangeTee to connect with their customers on a more personal level, offering a platform where both new and existing homeowners could discover everything they need for their homes while gaining valuable insights into the property market.

The Home Expo which was held from 13 to 15 September, showed that owning a home is not just a financial investment but also a deeply personal journey. The event featured 23 exhibitors, including notable names such as Cellini, Osim, Prism+, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, amongst others.

Additionally, 18 OrangeTee industry experts, including Ms Christine Sun (Chief Researcher & Strategist), Ms Nicole Teo (Deputy Branch Associate Director), and Mr Dallas Hassan (Senior Branch Associate Director), took the stage to share their expertise on real estate, investments, and retirement opportunities. With each speaker being proficient in their respective segments in the real estate industry, attendees could rest assured that they were in capable hands when exploring ways to improve different aspects of their homes.

Mr Justin Quek, CEO of OrangeTee, said, “With the complexity of real estate, OrangeTee’s speakers at the Home Expo provided in-depth industry knowledge to help buyers make well-informed decisions, avoid pitfalls, and maximise value. At OrangeTee, we are primarily a consumer-centric platform and it’s part of our new vision to make real estate accessible and understandable for everyone.”

This inaugural Home Expo offered homeowners a comprehensive package, combining quality products with expert advice to enhance their home-buying experience.

Marcus Low, a 41-year-old Director in the Travel Industry, who attended ‘2H 2024 Property Market Outlook’ by Ms Christine Sun, said, “It was insightful to see the property market trends and statistics. It opened my eyes to different real estate investment opportunities in HDBs, condominiums and overseas real estate. Through these different learnings, I am looking forward to different opportunities I can invest in the future.

Another Home Expo visitor, a 25-year-old Retail Excellence and Learning Executive, Tanya Bedi, who attended ‘Why is Landed Property a Gem in Singapore?’ by Mr Vincent Lim, shared her thoughts on the overall experience. She said, “Understanding the different types of properties in Singapore was very interesting. It is good to know that the number of landed properties has not changed across the years and it’s definitely something worth investing in. As someone who just joined the workforce, it’s good to start planning early rather than wait till the end.”

Choosing the right property partner is essential for both your home and financial goals. OrangeTee took the opportunity at the Home Expo to highlight its advisers, who provided a first-hand, holistic approach to real estate.

Beyond the exhibition booths, visitors gained valuable insights into real estate management, wealth protection, and investments in foreign properties through seminars led by respected OrangeTee experts such as Mr Dan Ho (Senior Division Associate Director), Mr Lester Tan (Chief Advisory Executive Associate Director and Head of AAG Group), and Mr Arthur Lee (Group Associate Director at OrangeTee & Tie) who spoke on areas such asforeign and local real estate investments, and using real estate to build additional income streams.  These sessions offered attendees a chance to expand their understanding of property markets and make strategic decisions for their future investments.

Reflecting on his experience as a speaker, Mr Tan, commented, “Here at the Home Expo, we would like to help customers realise their property potential and help them to understand the market. Investing in properties and real estate is not just about securing a home, but also about creating additional revenue streams. In times of uncertainty, when jobs may be at risk, this can provide a safety net, potentially boosting income by up to 50%, to support both livelihood and retirement plans.”

Adyll Hardy, a 40-year-old Vocal Coach, shared his takeaways from Mr Tan’s seminar, Unlock a 50% Pay Rise Using Property: How to potentially Increase Your pay Without Asking Your Boss, “I am excited to apply what I’ve learned during Mr Lester’s seminar to receive passive income through my property, and also looking at ways to upgrade my property in the next 5 years. At the same time, this is a great opportunity for me to think about the real estate market leading to my retirement in the future.”

The Home Expo has not only provided homeowners with products and services but also offered them the tools and insights needed to make confident, informed decisions about their homes and investments. OrangeTee remains committed to supporting homeowners at every step of their journey.

SUPPORT FOR SINGAPORE CHILDREN’S SOCIETY

At the event, OrangeTee also announced its support for the “Safe Havens, Bright Horizons” campaign by Singapore Children’s Society, with a goal to raise $100,000 for the revitalisation of Sunbeam Place, in collaboration with a local art gallery, Living With Art

Supporting this initiative, which aims to enhance the facility’s safety and create a nurturing environment for its young residents, reflects the broader goal of making a lasting, positive impact on the community, ensuring that vulnerable children and youth have the opportunity to thrive and “Find Their Place” in society.

Mr Quek further elaborated, “At OrangeTee, our advisers will guide customers through the entire process of finding their dream home from start to finish. They understand the journey from the customer’s perspective and are equipped with the knowledge to help them make informed decisions. We also aim to win the trust of consumers by supporting them during their research phase, ensuring they feel confident about their property choices.”

OrangeTee’s strategic partners include a range of industry leaders such as Living With Art, Motorist, Endowus, Crestbrick, OCBC Mortgage, Citibank Mortgage, and Circular Law Chambers, each playing a key role in enhancing the homeownership experience.
