In an effort to provide users with real-time access to stock, cryptocurrency, and other asset information and enable trading of these, Elon Musk’s Twitter and eToro collaborate, the latter of which made the announcement on Thursday.

4.7 million Searches Everyday

The trading data will be available through a tool called Cashtags, which went live in 2022 and enables users to interact with data about an asset by placing a dollar sign in front of a company’s ticker rather than a hashtag as they would typically do for search. There have been 420 million searches for Cashtags since the year’s beginning, or an average of 4.7 million searches each day.
