What were the initial challenges you faced?
The main challenge that every entrepreneur faces in his/her initial days is to offer a token of trust to potential customers. Most of the time, potential customers don’t put their trust in a rookie company. To get the breakthrough is the main challenge. Any entrepreneur in the world must have faced this issue. Elsner Technologies has tried social media and other marketing channels to face this issue and focused on brand awareness. Once you have quality services and products in your hand, customers will come to you naturally. It might take time, but they will come undoubtedly.
Also, good candidates often hesitate to join a new company due to many possible reasons. What if the company shuts down in a couple of years? What if their skills are not utilized properly? What if joining this company affects my resume negatively? These are questions that haunt good candidates.
Which was that point that triggered the growth of Elsner Technologies?
At the initial stage, the main point of discussion was can we get enough customers, and provide services well enough to become a viable business? But then we got an eCommerce app development project that has a good impact on the eCommerce industry. So with well-detailed research and hard work, we launch their application and that successful launch changes the future of MyAppGurus.

Having great work and life balance is another thing that an entrepreneur must learn. Furthermore, he must know the maximum utilization of resources.
Can you please brief us about your professional experience?
Before founding MyAppGurus, I worked closely as an app developer in multiple IT companies in Ahmedabad. During that time, I have always believed in thinking out-of-the-box to come up with the finest solutions that can bring the desired change. I have worked for almost 6-7 years as an app developer before founding my baby- MyAppGurus.
What are the key achievements of your entrepreneurial journey?
Initially, we were mostly in app development services. Over time, we have identified opportunities in app designing, UI design, and maintenance services, especially in the eCommerce industry. The eCommerce industry is growing rapidly all over the world and we took the lead to come up with unique, unmatched, and result-driven eCommerce app solutions for our clients. Elsner Technologies has a team of almost 200 employees from different expertise who work and help us to offer superior services to its clients.

What does your work culture look like? How do you keep your employees motivated and driven?

Can you tell us what your favourite book is? And your favourite part of the book (if any)?
I love to read inspirational books that mostly deal with leadership skills. As of now, I am reading “Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life” by Albert Liebermann and Hector Garcia. This is a fantastic book and has the potential to change the way you look at life. It mainly emphasizes some of the life tips that can help you to stay stress-free and motivated. I urge everyone to read this book as it might change your perception of life, work, and humanity.
Whose business story do you find the most inspiring?
I have always stated in many of my lectures that Steve Jobs is the man who has changed my life and the way I look at entrepreneurship. Some of the life lessons I learned from Steve Jobs are to accept failures as you celebrate success, learn from others even if he is your driver or a local vendor, and take the calculated risk rather than blind ones, and many others to follow. He was the man with the right entrepreneurship skills at his sleeves and has changed the lives of millions.
Which is the most inspiring quote you have read?
Again Steve Jobs. My favorite quote is: “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
What is your take on the competition in the market? How do you cope with it?
Competition is the fuel that drives me every day. I can’t imagine a day where there are no competitors as it will make me mediocre. Competition helps me to motivate myself to think creatively and innovatively to come up with the best solutions. Creativity also does not allow you to compromise with the quality of the services you offer. Yes, competition is the actual driving force that has helped me to reach where I am today.
Is competition a motivating factor? Does it help to bring out the best?
Yes, as I have discussed in the last question, without competition, you will not be able to think about exclusivity. If you don’t have any competitors in the market, you will just come up with ordinary solutions with no value to offer. Competition boosts your efficiency, productivity, and creativity that can bring the best out of you.
