Texas Automation Systems (TAS) – Unlocking the Power of IIoT!

Texas Automation Systems - Power of IIoT (Industrial Internet Of Things) | Brad Byrum | The Enterprise World

Texas Automation Systems has become a trusted automation partner by providing best-in-class automation and wireless system design, integration, programming and commissioning services.

The old adage “doing more with less” has never been truer than right now. Today companies are struggling to find and keep qualified employees as well as navigating the global supply chain crisis. While the Internet of Things (IoT) and its industrial counterpart Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), also known as Industry 4.0, have been steadily growing since their inceptions in 1999 and 2002, respectively, the current manpower and material shortages have created a perfect storm for IIoT to significantly accelerate its growth. Companies ranging from Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Water & Wastewater, Food & Beverage, Packing and Sorting to General Manufacturing are all now seeing the benefit IIoT can deliver in terms of reduced manpower requirements and improved asset utilization and protection.

Furthermore, and equally important, companies are seeing how IIoT is helping improve their Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scores. The complexity comes in as each company requires a unique IIoT solution to match its environment and requirements.

It becomes a difficult choice to choose between the best solution providers. There are a handful of companies that provide the latest technology packed with industry-best standards and support.

Texas Automation Systems is one of the leading names in providing unmatched and highly reliable automation and IIoT solutions. They are one of the premier names, providing the latest tech that IIoT, or industry 4.0, has to offer. It’s their prowess, command of the technology and a spectacular arsenal of solutions that make them one of the most reliable and trusted Automation solution providers.

Brad Byrum is the President at TAS.

Brad has spent more than 30 years working in the industrial automation space. For the first 24 years, he worked on the supplier side applying, developing, marketing, and selling instrumentation and systems to support the automation market.

For the past 7 years, he has worked in the system integration space creating automation solutions for a wide variety of clients. At the end of the day, Brad loves solving problems, and this is a great industry to exercise that desire.

For Texas Automation Systems, Brad is an entrepreneurial leader with a comprehensive background in leading organizations in developing sales and marketing strategies that achieve significant revenue increases, operating profit, and market position. Offering over 20 years of senior management and executive experience, earning a reputation for driving initiatives that build corporate culture imbued with high levels of motivation and ownership.

“I consider my greatest achievements to be the success of the individuals, teams, and companies I have worked with and for. Seeing, and being part of, others growing and succeeding brings great personal satisfaction”, Brad adds.

Brad talks about the responsibilities of an entrepreneur

I believe the key responsibilities of being an effective entrepreneur are to provide the organization with a strategic vision, to build a great team, to always be looking for growth opportunities, to remove growth barriers as they arise, and to build effective processes to make the company run as smoothly and effectively as possible.

The team of TAS and what makes them unique?

The Texas Automation Systemsteam is highly focused and dedicated to meeting the high standards and reputation of the company. What allows them to strive harder and serve their clients with the best services is the way they are treated by the management and leadership of Texas Automation Systems.

Team members are listened to, respected, and encouraged to explore their ideas and carve innovation into every service they create. This, of course, includes competitive pay and benefits but also as importantly includes providing growth opportunities, welcoming their thoughts and participation in growth initiatives, recognition of a job well done, working to provide a healthy work/life balance, and having fun as often as possible.

Brad goes out of his way to direct the bulk of the company’s success to the team as a whole and specifically Jared Weakley, the Director of Automation and founding member of the company.  He adds, “we have a great team and while I may be the head of the company Jared holds all claims on being the heart of the company.” Jared’s technical leadership and commitment to getting the job done right all while truly caring about those around him is unparalleled in Brad’s opinion.

“You need to be aware of what others are doing, applaud their efforts, acknowledge their successes, and encourage them in their pursuits. When we all help one another, everybody wins.” – Jim Stovall
