Synonymous with innovative solutions, Senaxus Technologies under the hegemony of two college friends, Vikas Owdhbal and Rajesh Kumar Budia, commenced its operations with a humble seed funding, and it has grown by leaps and bounds doubling its size year after year and now it aspires to be around Rs.90 Million by the end of this year and around Rs.1000 Million by 2025.
In a talk with Mr. Vikas Owdhbal Co-Founder and Director at Senaxus Technologies, let’s get inspired by their success story and let’s discover what they offer to their valuable customers.
1. Tell us about Senaxus Technologies.
Senaxus Technologies entered the market five years back. Although the planning for this venture was initiated in 2010, the founding directors took some time to come out of their comfort Zones and establish this organization.
Purpose-built to serve the myriads need of the modern market, Senaxus Technologies is acing it; they are excelling at delivering turnkey solutions for complete SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning) of all Solar Solutions, LED Lighting, Electrical Solutions, and Security Solution domain.
2. What were the initial challenges you faced?
The major roadblocks were funding, team building, finding the right OEMs and customers. As we were a new entrant in the already crowded market, people were a little skeptical about working with us. But, over time, we gained the confidence of clients as well as our suppliers. Today, we are associated with the biggest of the names in the Medical, Education, Hospitality, Pharma, and manufacturing sectors.
3. Which was that point that triggered the growth of the company?
Initially, we were more focused on selling and providing after-sales support ONLY for the offered products by us. But, we realized that the end client needed someone who could take care of his entire project from start to finish. This gave us a new thought and direction and we started providing Integrated End-End Solutions to all our prized customers. We started working as a consultant to our clients right from the conceptual stage to designing to execution and providing after-sales support to our clients. This propelled our growth and gave us an edge over our competitors.
4. How have the company graphs changed since the foundation?
Commenced its operations with a humble seed funding, Senaxus Technologies has grown by leaps and bounds doubling its size year after year. When we started our operations, the first year’s revenue was around Rs.5 Million, which scaled up to Rs.15 Million in the second year and Rs.30 Million in the third year. Currently growing at a CAGR of 100 percent, we aspire to be around Rs.90 Million by the end of this year and around Rs.1000 Million by 2025.
5. What is the reason behind your company’s long-standing success?
Perseverance and a never-give-up attitude are what keep us floating. We sail through rough waters by backing ourselves and the entire team very strongly. Adverse situations push us to do better. Moreover, we have a diligent team of young Engineers & Technicians who have been associated with us for over 5 years now. They work tirelessly to achieve common company goals.
6. What are the products/services the company focuses on? How are your services different from those in the market?
Senaxus Technologies Private Limited (STPL) offers quality, comprehensive & end-to-end solutions in Power Management, Solar Solutions, LED Lighting, and Complete Security Solution domains with utmost gravity on 24x7x365 after-sale services, and thus allowing its customers to sit back and relax during the installation, along the warranty period and even after the warranty period. In other words, with STPL, the commitment only gets bigger post product installation in the Power management vertical, we are handling product solutions like ONLINE UPS systems from 1 KVA to 5000 KVA Capacities, Grid Connected Solar Power Plants and LED Lighting Solutions. In the security domain, we are majorly into designing and executing IP & HD CCTV solutions for small to large-scale clients.
7. How do you decide to take the company a step further in terms of your products/services?
Senaxus Technologies aspires to be a customer-centric company. We believe in becoming a consultant to all our prized customers. We want to build a platform where our Engineers work with our client’s Engineers as a team to get the best result for the products and solutions which we are designing and executing.
Senaxus Technologies is also busy designing some new product lines based on IoT (Internet of Things) and AI (Artificial Intelligence). They plan to launch a Home Automation product line based on IoT by early 2020.
8. Is there any new addition to the list of products/services?

You can virtually control all your House / Office Electrical equipment, doors, curtains, and just everything by just a touch on your Smart Phone from anywhere in the world.
9. What do you think are the responsibilities of an entrepreneur?
Well, I do firmly believe that entrepreneurship is a great responsibility. An entrepreneur is responsible not only for the external customers but also for his internal customers within his organization.
An entrepreneur should never lie or over-commit to its clients for getting business. A good entrepreneur fulfills all its promises and is willing to go further than usual to get customer satisfaction and loyalty.
10. Can you please brief us about your professional experience?
Well, I am a seasoned marketing professional having over 20 years of rich experience in the corporate world, I live in Delhi with my family of five including my father (a Retd. Senior Railway Officer), two adorable kids, and wife. I am an Engineering Graduate in Electronics & Telecommunication and possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I was heading all India key positions for almost 10 years in an MNC in my last assignment, handling Power management products and solutions. I handle the Marketing, Business Development, customer support portfolios & strategic tie-ups in Senaxus Technologies.
11. What are the key achievements of your entrepreneurial journey?
We have been working mostly on integrated projects which is our strong zone. Our service desk is always available to them for any kind of Onsite or offsite support. Here is the list of major milestones won by Senaxus Technologies:

12. How do you look after your employees? What makes your team unique?
Senaxus Technologies Pvt. Limited is a very young and dynamic company. We are a team of young Engineers, Technicians, and Management graduates. We have a very open and unique work culture. We have no bosses, only colleagues. We all respect each other’s points of view and suggestions. We work cohesively as a family with only one aim “CUSTOMER SATISFACTION”.
13. Is there any special experience with your clients you would like to highlight?
Of late, most of our existing clients and even new prospective clients have started taking us as a very strong contender even for doing large-scale integrated projects. The project values are as high as INR 35 – 40 Crores! They do consider us as their partners and consultants rather than a mere supplier. Our work has been appreciated by large business houses like Mankind Pharma Limited, Max Healthcare, Ansals, Radisson Blu Hotels, Trident Group, Vihan Network Limited, Barmalt Malting Limited, and many others.
14. Can you tell us what your favorite book is?
Right from a growing age, I have been a die-hard fan of Mr. Ratan Tata. I am a great admirer of his work. I have been closely following him since my childhood!! His Book “THE WIT & WISDOM OF RATAN TATA” is a masterpiece. This book contains his simplicity, his determination, his defining moments, his generosity, his learning curve, his humility, and his intellectual curiosity.
15. One person, who you admire the most?
I admire Mr. Ratan Tata; he is the true inspiration for every entrepreneur.
16. Whose business story do you find the most inspiring?
Mr. Jack Ma – Former Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group.
17. Which is the most inspiring quote you have read?

18. Constant vigilance- a need or a strategy?
I think Constant vigilance is a bit of need as well as a strategy too. In this dynamic world where cybersecurity & electronic security are the two major threats for any organization. Gone are the days when just putting a firewall used to be good enough for an IT Manager at an organization
19. It’s a rat race out there. How do you cope with that?
Yeah, there is a big Rat race going on there. Even people and organizations are doing everything and anything to secure Businesses from the clients. At, Senaxus Technologies. we try to differentiate ourselves by offering value for money to all our clients rather than just Prices.
